Description
Hyper-Kamiokande (HK) is a next-generation water Cherenkov detector.
The effective volume of the detector will be approximately five times that of Super-Kamiokande. The physics goals of HK include measurements of the leptonic CP phase, searches for proton decay, and observations of atmospheric neutrinos as well as neutrinos from solar and supernova explosions. The experiment is set to begin operation in 2027, with collaboration from 22 countries, 104 institutions, and around 600 researchers. In this presentation, status of construction and the activities of the Korean group for Hyper-Kamiokande, 20 inch PMT test for inner detector, 3 inch PMT test for outer detector,
development of laser calibration system to obtain water parameters, system development for DAQ test and so on.
