Description
In this talk, I review recent theoretical progresses in quarkonium production phenomenology regarding applications to probing perturbative and nonperturbative QCD. These include production rates at large transverse momentum, quarkonium momentum distributions in jets, and evaluation of nonperturbative matrix elements in terms of Wilson lines. Then, I introduce some new results in production of exotic hadrons, which may be more useful than conventional quarkonium states in probing QCD at colliders.
